Someone spotted Dallas Cowboys All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons in a destination that suggests a trade may very much be in order.

Friday will mark four weeks since Micah Parsons publicly requested a trade from the Cowboys in a lengthy statement on social media. The 26-year-old is heading into the final season of his rookie deal and has been eligible for an extension since last year.

Speculation is brewing that Parsons could be traded to one of Dallas’ main rivals, the Green Bay Packers. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently reported that the Packers, Arizona Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens could have interest in the four-time Pro Bowler.

Well, behold more Micah Parsons trade speculation, folks. X/Twitter user @scottwilliamss posted an image of Parsons leaving the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and said he appeared to be “in a rush.”

Is this a sign that he’s leaving the Cowboys permanently and on the verge of getting traded? Stay tuned.

Despite the trade request, Parsons was at AT&T Stadium for the Cowboys’ final preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons last week, where he was spotted taking a nap on the trainer’s table.

At the end of the day, the Cowboys’ best option is to pay Micah Parsons what he wants and continue building the defense around him. They could trade him for a monster haul that would include at least two first-round picks, but the odds of drafting a player with equal or greater value are slim.

Negotiations have turned ugly between owner/GM Jerry Jones and Parsons’ camp, but money always talks in professional sports. If Jones puts his ego aside and meets Parsons’ asking price, the dramatic saga will finally end, and the Cowboys can return to focusing on their Super Bowl aspirations.

The clock is ticking, though, with the Cowboys set to begin their season against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field next Thursday.
