TRAVIS Kelce vowed to have a better season in 2025, but he is struggling to start the year.
Two games into 2025, the Kansas City Chiefs sit at 0-2 and that is largely in part due to Kelce.

Kelce has produced two of the worst moments of the season for the Chiefs.
The first game in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers when he absolutely leveled his own teammate Xavier Worthy.
That play dislocated Worthy’s shoulder and held him out of the Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.
Worthy will possibly miss Week 3 as well due to the injury.
Against the Eagles, Kelce was directly responsible for his team’s loss.
A pass from Patrick Mahomes bounced off his hands and was intercepted by an Eagles defender.
Philadelphia then marched down the field to score the game-winning touchdown.
Despite Kelce clearly being to blame, head coach Andy Reid took the blame for the error.
“I’ll take full responsibility for that game,” Reid said.
“I probably stayed too aggressive on that and that’s my responsibility. I thought my guys played their tail off.

“They played hard, aggressive football and they stuck together throughout the game and that will pay off for us down the road as we continue to grow.
“We can’t have the turnover. Again, I’ve got to dial up something different there.”
Kelce also took some responsibility for the 0-2 start on the New Heights podcast.
“You try and turn into Superman and do too much,” he said.
“You try and do more than what is asked of you on a certain play or certain moment.
“Do I do the routine thing? Or do I do something spectacular and try and make it all work? I think there’s a little bit of that, at least from me.”
The Chiefs have a chance to get right in Week 3 against the New York Giants, and they especially need Kelce to get going.
It sounds crazy to say, but if Kelce can’t get himself right soon, he could find himself getting less volume in the Chiefs’ offense.
The Chiefs have an extremely capable backup tight end in the form of Noah Gray.
Last season, Gray had 437 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
He has proven himself capable of stepping up in Kelce’s place when needed.
It could soon be that time for the Chiefs as they are growing desperate for a win.
