Fans had already expected this weekend’s Dolphins-Browns game to be a brutal watch, given how poorly both teams have been playing this season. But the weather could make it a lot worse.

The sides will face off at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field on Sunday and are heading into the fixture with a collective 2-10 record over six weeks, having won just one game each.

The home team is experiencing an identity crisis at quarterback, starting the season with Joe Flacco but puzzlingly trading him to the Cincinnati Bengals, who hit the QB market following Joe Burrow’s injury.

The move raised eyebrows, including in Pittsburgh, where Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin openly criticized the decision to deal the veteran away ahead of their game this weekend.

Flacco responded to the comments, suggesting that the Pittsburgh HC may have been employing some gamesmanship.

The Browns have named Dillon Gabriel their starter, with Shedeur Sanders now the backup. Fans who have been calling for him to play must surely feel like his time is coming.

Miami knows who its starter is, but he hasn’t been very effective under center so far and may have distanced himself from the rest of the team by calling certain teammates out for missing player-only meetings.

They have also lost star wide receiver Tyreek Hill for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, a concerning weather update has surfaced, noting that the game could also play host to gusts of up to wind speeds of 50-60 miles per hour, while the National Weather Service notes that a stronger storm could materialize, and the system is one worth keeping an eye on.

As of Thursday afternoon, winds were up to 36mph, while there was a 94 percent chance of rain.
