Caitlin Clark’s 2025 campaign is officially over.

Caitlin Clark Will Miss the Rest of WNBA Season

The Indiana Fever guard has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, revealing as much via social media on Thursday night.

Clark, a two-time All-Star and the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, has not played since July 15, when she suffered a right groin injury against the Connecticut Sun.

She also dealt with a bone bruise in August that delayed her return to full-contact practice.

The former Iowa star took to Twitter/X on Thursday night to express her disappointment while thanking fans for their support.

“I spent hours in the gym every day with the singular goal of getting back out there, disappointed isn’t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling,” she wrote in a tweet.

Clark played just 13 games this season, averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game, also helping the Fever win the Commissioner’s Cup earlier in the season.

While there was hope that she could return before the final game of the season, team officials decided that there was not enough time left for her to rejoin the team without risk.
