Cameras caught Caitlin Clark’s priceless reaction when a cameraperson accidentally bumped into a rail before Friday night’s game between the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings.

Before the game, the Fever announced on X/Twitter that Caitlin Clark would miss her second straight game because of a groin injury. Clark missed five games earlier this season with a quad injury, and the Fever lost three of five games in her absence.

Despite her injury, Clark attended the game to support her teammates. As she was making her way through the hallways, however, cameras caught an awkward (albeit hilarious) interaction between Clark and a camera worker.

As camera operators filmed Caitlin Clark’s arrival, another man held the cords to make sure nobody tripped over them. But he inadvertently backed up and hit the railing, leading to a priceless response from Clark.

“Woah, that had to hurt! Hope you’re okay,” Clark said.

Hey, we’ve seen several instances of football and basketball players running right into camera workers and never checking in on them, so good on Clark to check on this employee quickly.

The 23-year-old Clark has been limited to nine games thus far in 2025 because of her two injuries. The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is averaging 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game while shooting 39.0 percent from the field.

It obviously wasn’t ideal for the Fever that they had to play back-to-back games with Caitlin Clark nursing a groin injury, but the good news is that they get an extended break before their next game.

The Fever will get five games off before their next contest, when they play host to the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday (7:00 p.m. EST).
