Elon Musk is getting cussed out on his own platform for what people perceive to be a classless act following the death of Liverpool star Diogo Jota.

Jota, a Premier League winner with the English club this year who also won the UEFA Nations League with Portugal, passed away along with his brother Andre in a horrific car accident in Spain in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to reports, he and his sibling, who also played professional soccer, were traveling in a Lamborghini when one of the tires blew while overtaking another vehicle. The supercar ran off the road and caught fire. Emergency personnel were unable to get the brothers out before they perished.

Many people noticed a video featuring the Portuguese forward pop up on their timelines on Thursday.

The clip, captioned “Stay on that side when he bounces back next season,” shows several highlights of the forward displaying his prowess in the box.

The weird thing is that the video above was posted hours before Jota’s tragic death.

Of course, there was no way of knowing he had played his last game at the time. But it showed up on people’s timelines after he passed, and people are blaming Musk.

“Elon Musk you absolute f***ing prat,” said another.

“This came to my timeline on purpose Elon is some questionable man,” claimed a third.

“The timing💔,” someone wrote.

“Twitter’s algorithm is so strange wtf,” another comment read.

“why is this on my TL now?” someone asked.

“Rest in Peace. Sad that this post decided to appear on my feed now of all moments 💔,” another wrote.

This is pretty mindblowing, especially as Jota’s name wasn’t even in the caption.
