THERE are fears that Kansas City Chiefs fatigue is already setting in after their disastrous start to the 2025 NFL season.

The Chiefs find themselves 0-2 this season, and worries about their TV ratings are starting to rise to the surface.

This is the Chiefs’ worst start in the Patrick Mahomes era.

Despite this, all of Kansas City’s next four games will be on national television.

This run of games includes a Sunday Night Football game against the Giants this weekend, before they host the Ravens the following weekend.

Then in October, they face the Jaguars on Monday Night Football on the 6th and the Lions the Sunday after.

Before the season started, it was pointed out that they were set to feature in five primetime games in the first eight weeks.

They were the first team ever to have this honour.

This comes off the back of the Chiefs becoming the most-watched NFL team.

They surpassed the Dallas Cowboys at the top of the viewing tree last season.

This was in large part due to them boasting two of the biggest NFL stars of all time in Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

And this has been boosted even further by Kelce’s relationship with global megastar Taylor Swift.

Swift and Kelce got engaged in August to boost numbers even further.

However, with the Chiefs’ early struggles in 2025, we may see a slump in their viewership.

So far, their 0-2 record has come from defeats to the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Justin Herbert led LA to a 27-21 victory in Brazil.

The quarterback threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns as his team led from the first quarter and relinquished the lead.

Mahomes threw for over 250 yards and contributed two TDs of his own, one pass and one rush

But it wasn’t enough to help his side win.

The following week saw a Super Bowl rematch with the Eagles travelling to Missouri.

Similarly, the Eagles took an early lead through Saquon Barkley, but the game remained close as the teams traded scores.

However, the Eagles walked away 20-17 victors after a major Kelce error let the game slip.
