WNBA star Caitlin Clark has given an important update on her latest injury.

The Indiana Fever star was diagnosed with a quad strain late last month.

Clark sat out the Fever’s 85-76 win over the Washington Mystics on Tuesday.

She has now missed three straight games with the quad issue.

It was the team’s first win since the 23-year-old went down with the issue.

Following the game, Clark gave reporters an update on her status.

And she confirmed she will sit out this weekend’s showdown with the Chicago Sky.

“I’ll miss this weekend’s game, but after that, it’s day-by-day and see how I feel,” Clark said on Wednesday.

“I’ll just turn to the medical staff and what they think.

“I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress and I feel good, and I’m not going to rush coming back. It’s just not worth it.
