Having gone into halftime with a 3-3 scoreline, the players made it an absolute show, but given the sequences that unfolded, the NCAA is now being called out for alleged over/under manipulation.

With scores locked at the aforementioned, the Ducks scored 27 points after the half, including in overtime. Their exploits saw them score two touchdowns in OT, one of which was a game-winning 25-yard pass to Gary Bryant Jr.

The Nittany Lions rallied back from 17-3 to score twice in the fourth quarter, with Drew Allar connecting with Devonte Ross to force the extra period.

Oregon fans cheer as the Oregon Ducks face the Penn State Nittany Lions on Sept. 27, 2025, at Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania.
A 30-24 scoreline brought the total to 54, which fueled speculation of play-calling and clock management being used to screw under bettors, as the over/under was set at 53.5. Mind you, that was after a Penn State student cheated Pat McAfee out of $300K.

Social media has been abuzz with claims, as fans have pointed to the tepid play in the first half, which included several punts and short-yardage runs despite favorable matchups.

Oregon overturned a fumble at the Penn State 9-yard line in the third quarter, which raised eyebrows, having been ruled a turnover initially, then reversed and eventually leading to a touchdown on the ensuing play.

Penn State also chose to pass on first down in the second overtime, which resulted in an interception.

Some saw it as a rigged play, considering that 11 of the 15 plays on the previous drives were on the ground.
