New York Giants superstar wide receiver Malik Nabers suffered a horrific-looking knee injury and had to be carted off in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

With just over six minutes remaining in the quarter, Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart (making his NFL debut) tried to connect with Malik Nabers on a deep ball. Nabers fell to the ground and immediately grabbed his right knee:
Trainers immediately ran over to help Nabers, who was visibly emotional as he was carted off the field. There was no immediate update on his status:
Before the injury, Nabers had two catches for 20 yards against the NFL’s third-best scoring defense. In his first three games, Nabers logged 16 catches for 251 yards and two touchdowns with Russell Wilson, who was benched in favor of Dart earlier this week.
Drafted sixth overall by the Giants in 2024, Malik Naber had one of the best rookie seasons ever for a WR with 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns.
