The Chiefs have the daunting task of facing a Super Bowl contender in Week 6

THE Kansas City Chiefs have made a particular decision for the first time in their franchise’s history.

The Chiefs are sitting 2-3 on the season after their tough 31-28 Monday Night Football loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5.

Kansas City didn’t lose its third game last season until Super Bowl 59.

They will now have the tough task of battling against the 4-1 Detroit Lions at home on Sunday Night Football.

After hosting the primetime game, the Chiefs are set to host an event for the first time.

On Tuesday, the team announced that, for the first time, GEHA Field at Arrowhead will host Game On!, which is an interactive fan event where attendees can compete by playing video games.

Among the video games are Madden NFL 26, Fall Guys, and Rocket League.

The event also allows fans to “learn more about streaming and shoutcasting and visit the Hall of Honor.”

The party will take place on October 25 and feature celebrity appearances from the Chiefs’ mascot, KC Wolf, team cheerleaders, gaming creators, and former Kansas City players Gehrig Dieter, Dezman Moses, and Marc Boerigter.

Fans can receive prizes, which include game tickets, autographed memorabilia, and Chiefs apparel.

And fans don’t even have to attend to participate, as they “can join in the fun from their own personal battle station.”

“Introducing Chiefs Kingdom’s first-ever day of gaming,” the Chiefs wrote on X.

“At Game on! presented by G.E.H.A, you’re invited to play some of your fave games alongside Chiefs legends and gaming creators for prizes like Chiefs tickets, autographed items, and more!”

Game On! will take place on October 25 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm CT.

It will take place just two days before the Chiefs’ game against the Washington Commanders in Week 8 on Monday Night Football.

The Chiefs’ home stadium has already hosted two games, with their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

Two weeks later, they beat the Baltimore Ravens.

In addition to hosting Chiefs games, Arrowhead will be busy in 2026.

The venue is one of 11 that will host the 2026 World Cup.
