Kelce has launched several off-field business ventures

TRAVIS Kelce’s contract WILL be extended by the Kansas City Chiefs, should the tight end want to continue his career beyond the end of this season.

Speculation has mounted that this will be the 35-year-old’s final year in the NFL.

Rumors also surrounded Kelce’s future following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat in February, only for the veteran to choose to play on.

The three-time Super Bowl champion is in the second year of a two-year, $34.25 million contract.

According to the Mail, Kelce has not yet made a final decision regarding whether this will be his last season.

But it is claimed that the Chiefs stalwart “anticipates” that this will be his final year.

Should Kelce opt to continue, however, the Chiefs will happily extend his contract to keep him on.

The Kansas City vet recently announced his engagement to superstar partner Taylor Swift.

This news led to further speculation that Kelce will soon hang up his cleats in order to start a family.

But it’s claimed that Taylor is not putting any pressure on her man to finish his career.

The Kansas City Chiefs winning the title this season would be seen as a perfect “swan song” for Kelce.

But the Chiefs’ season got off to a rough start last weekend.

The Chiefs will return to action this Sunday, as they host the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Whenever he opts to retire, Kelce won’t be short of career options.

The Chiefs superstar has already launched several business ventures.

Alongside his brother Jason, Kelce co-hosts the wildly successful New Heights podcast.

The show has been a smash hit and already boasts more than 3.1 million YouTube subscribers.

Taylor Swift joined the show last month, announcing her new album during the appearance.

New Heights is not Kelce’s only off-field business venture.

The tight end has made investments alongside teammate Patrick Mahomes.

These include being part of a group that pumped $200 million into Formula 1 team Alpine in October 2023.
