NFL Fans Are Convinced The Rams-49ers 'Thursday Night Football' Game Was “ Rigged” After Very Fishy Ending [VIDEO] - NewsBreak

In a true “Game of the Year” candidate, the banged-up San Francisco 49ers (4-1) narrowly outlasted the Los Angeles Rams (3-2) 26-23 in overtime to take sole possession of first in the NFC West.

After Eddy Pineiro’s 41-yard field goal put the 49ers ahead in the extra frame, Robert Saleh’s defense stuffed Kyren Williams on 4th-and-1 in the red zone to secure the stunning road win in SoFi Stadium:

Some fans, however, believe the jaw-dropping ending was too good to be true. In other words, they think the game was “rigged” for a San Francisco victory.

“Great acting by everybody involved NFL is rigged. Goodnight,” one fan wrote.

“That fumble was carried by one hand not protected by two. It was obviously rigged. Guess Mcvey got the call and is content being second in the division this year,” said a user.

“😂🤣 give niners credit, the game was fixed from the start when we got the script from the @NFL,” a fan commented.

“NFL definitely fixed. @nfl please review this action.,” said another.

“If Matt Stafford woulda chose to receive the ball they woulda tossed the ball 3+ times to puka got the yards and that woulda been game with the score 29-23. Like we not dumb we know this the NFL is rigged and scripted and y’all work for Vegas.,” a fan added.

“NFL one of the most scripted leagues I’ve ever seen,” a user said.

The 49ers were without starting quarterback Brock Purdy (turf toe) and wide receivers Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle/ribs). Tight end George Kittle (hamstring) has been sidelined since Week 1, and the 49ers still don’t know when All-Pro receiver Brandon Aiyuk will make his season debut.

And yet, the 49ers sit atop the NFC West at 4-1 heading into Week 6. Not a bad coaching job by Kyle Shanahan whatsoever.
