During the third quarter, with the Giants leading 20-17, Dart drew fans’ praise with a hilarious refereeing moment.

New York were on the Eagles’ one-yard line as the QB handed the ball to fellow rookie Cam Skattebo.

The running back tried to bulldoze his way into the end zone, and his efforts appeared successful.

However, down judge Andy Warner raised one arm to signal no score.

Dart then approached Warner to try to convince the official that his teammate scored.

After a few seconds of conversation, the 22-year-old gave the referee a high five before running off and jumping towards his teammates.

In the end, Skattebo’s run was ruled a touchdown, but fans were more interested in the comedic moment, taking to X to show their appreciation.

One said, “Not a Giants fan but that was f****** AWESOME.”

Another exclaimed, “Best thing I’ve seen all night.”

A third wrote, “That high five is meme worthy.”

After the game, another Dart moment piqued the interest of fans on social media.

Head coach Brian Daboll embraced Dart, holding his helmet, as the two exchanged words.

The 50-year-old then saluted his QB before dapping him up.

On X, one fan remarked, “Find someone that looks at you the way Brian Daboll looks at Jaxson Dart.”

Another commented, “The son he always wanted.”

A third tweeted, “Brian Daboll hugging Jaxson Dart like he just saved his mortgage. Job security never felt so good.”

During the game, the former first-round draft pick took a huge hit, to the worry of his coach.

He was sent to the blue tent for a concussion test, causing Daboll to shout at his team doctor, but the QB was eventually able to take the field again.

Since replacing Russell Wilson after an 0-3 start, Dart has gone from strength to strength in the NFL and is one of the most exciting up-and-coming quarterbacks.

The Giants travel to Denver next week, hoping to improve their record with back-to-back victories.
