Social media detectives caught the Los Angeles Rams cheating red-handed during their “Thursday Night Football” showdown with the San Francisco 49ers at SoFi Stadium last night.

Sean McVay’s 3-1 Los Angeles Rams took on a banged-up San Francisco team that was playing without quarterback Brock Purdy (turf toe), wide receivers Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle/ribs). The 49ers went on to win a thriller, 26-23 in overtime, after stopping Kyren Williams on a 4th-and-1 play in the red zone.
Though the 49ers emerged victorious to improve to 4-1 on the season, the Rams are not immune to controversy. More specifically, a video has surfaced that strongly indicates the Rams were pumping in crowd noise to help the home team in a game that featured an overwhelming amount of 49ers fans.
Have a look for yourself, courtesy of this video from Dov Kleiman:
“rams were 100% piping in crowd noise. pathetic,” one fan said.
“It’s so pathetic how they pipe in fake rams fan crowd noise. It’s so obvious,” said another.
“Biggest thing is the crowd yelling defense for #49ers late in the game when #Rams were in the redzone.. Guess Rams forgot to pump fake crowd noise in due to all the talk about it this week! Outcome is #Ramshouse was properly represented as #Levis South!!” wrote a user.
Last week, Indianapolis Colts safety Cam Bynum also accused the Los Angeles Rams of pumping crowd noise into the speakers, prior to their Week 4 showdown at SoFi Stadium.
“On 3rd downs, the crowd is sitting down…but somehow there’s noise coming from somewhere,” Bynum said.
If you’re going to a Rams home game this season, keep an ear open to the fake crowd noise allegations.

In 2015, the NFL stripped the Atlanta Falcons of a 2016 fifth-round pick and fined them $350,000 after an investigation determined that they were pumping fake crowd noise into the speakers at the Georgia Dome.
The Indianapolis Colts also faced allegations of using artificial crowd noise when they played at the RCA Dome, a theory floated by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. The late Jim Irsay, the longtime Colts owner, denied the allegations.
The NFL may want to investigate these latest accusations against the Rams to ensure they’re playing by the rules. After all, LA home games are usually invaded by opposing team fans.
