One female Miami Hurricanes fan learned that equal rights and liberties can be delivered to anybody.

A video from back in 2017 is going viral again today. An irate and drunk female fan was doing way too much in the stands, so Miami-Dade police officers were summoned to get her.

Unfortunately, her behavior was so bad that the cops had to pick her up and carry her to the concourse of Hard Rock Stadium.

While doing so, the Miami Hurricanes woman decided to backhand a cop, which is a bad idea for many reasons. The cop reacted by punching her square in the face.

“Lights out. 😂😂😂,” one person said.

“Typically, that’ll get you 18 months,” a second person wrote of the Miami Hurricanes fan.

“Excessive drinking can lead to severe consequences. Wake up in the morning in jail,” a third person commented.

“Well, they did say they wanted gender equality,” a fourth person added.

The Miami-Dade police officer who punched a drunken woman during a Miami Hurricanes football game back in 2017 was cleared of any wrongdoing at the time, per the Miami Herald.

Police were investigating the incident after footage showed him striking the woman back during Miami’s game against Virginia Tech.

Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told the Associated Press at the time that they were “gathering all of the details to gain a clear understanding of what occurred” in the incident. They ultimately did the right thing.

The then-30-year-old Bridget Freitas was subsequently arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct/Breach of the Peace.

Miami-Dade police officer Douglas Ross was the man who struck her. He had been with the department for 18 years at the time of the video.
