Two arrests have been made after a fan was violently attacked during Wednesday night’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium.

On Thursday afternoon, a video surfaced of a Los Angeles Angels fan getting attacked by two other spectators in Wednesday night’s game. Cameras caught a man knocking out the Angels fan with a vicious punch, followed by a delinquent male in a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey coming in to kick the defenseless man in the head.

According to TMZ Sports, police identified the two attackers (both men in their 20s) and arrested both of them. One was booked for misdemeanor assault, and another was charged with felony assault.

The Anaheim Police Department told TMZ Sports that the fight apparently “started over the stealing of a hat.” The fan who was attacked refused an offer to be taken to the hospital, the outlet also reported.

The slumping Los Angeles Dodgers were swept by the Los Angeles Angels, who scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning en route to a 6-5 victory. The Angels swept the Freeway Series 6-0, having also taken all three meetings at Dodger Stadium in mid-May.
