Caitlin Clark may not have played on Tuesday night, but she surely made a lot of noise during and after the game.
FastCast: Tuesday’s best in < 10 minutes
The Indiana Fever are the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup champions. On Tuesday night, they defeated the defending champion Lynx on the road in Minnesota, 74-59, to win the trophy for the first time in franchise history.
Their star guard cheered them on from the sidelines, but that was just the start of the night.
In the locker room, it was time to party.
Indiana Fever player Sydney Colson went live on Instagram as all the girls partied.
Caitlin Clark was definitely on camera a lot, interacting with fans.
However, there was one moment where she was bent over, and Colson came up from behind her to mock a sexual position.
Clark quickly jumped up and said, “Absolutely not. No, thank you.”
When Will Caitlin Clark Return To The Court?
Caitlin Clark was ruled out for the Indiana Fever ahead of Tuesday’s Commissioner’s Cup title game against the Minnesota Lynx after missing two games with a left groin injury.
The Fever split the back-to-back games Clark missed, first losing to the Los Angeles Sparks. However, the Fever followed that up with a 94-86 win over the Dallas Wings.
They made things even better with another victory on Tuesday night.
Clark’s absence has deprived many fans of seeing her play. Earlier this season, she missed five games with a quad injury suffered after the Fever’s first four games.
Whenever Fever coach Stephanie White has been asked about her star player’s injury progress over the past week, she has stressed the fact that they’re prioritizing Caitlin Clark’s long-term health.
Clark is averaging 18.2 points, five rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 1.6 steals in nine games thus far through her second WNBA season. She is shooting 26% on 3-pointers.
During four years at Iowa and her rookie WNBA season, Clark didn’t miss a single game.
