The game between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun descended into chaos, and Sophie Cunningham made her voice heard.
While up by much as 20, players were simply trying to end it so they could go home.
Unfortunately, it would not go that way.
Caitlin Clark was right in the middle of a heated altercation in the third quarter of the game–one that resulted in multiple technical fouls from the players involved.
Clark got into it early in the game with Sun guard Jacy Sheldon.
The two exchanged words in what seemed like an intense conversation, setting the stage for what was to come
Later in the game, Sun guard Marina Mabrey sent Clark to the ground with a forceful shove, which made the entire situation even more intense.
Late in the fourth quarter, Sophie Cunningham decided to leave her mark on the game.
As Jacy Sheldon made her way to the basket, Cunningham grabbed her by the neck and tossed her to the ground.
Cunningham would grab her hair as all the players got into a massive scrum to separate players.
