Cubs-Cardinals camera shot of woman in balcony

A clip from Thursday’s Cubs-Cardinals game is going viral as it shows cameras panning to an apartment building just outside of the Busch Stadium to catch a barely dressed woman walking away.

Chicago got a shutout win over St. Louis away from home on Thursday, beating the home side 3-0 to split their four-game series.

The contest marked pitcher Shota Imanaga’s return from injury after two months, and it was like he never left as he put in five impressive innings of five strikeouts and one walk. The imperious performance lowered his ERA to 2.54 and set the tone for the Cubs.

On the other end, Michael Busch took the reins for the offense with an early solo home run and scored again after Ian Happ fashioned a bases-loaded walk.

The Cubs got another in the eighth inning to seal the win. But a woman who had nothing to do with the action earned the highlight of the game as she was shown on the STREAM CUBS broadcast wearing a thong bikini. Coincidentally (or not), the commentator was heard saying “That’s amazing” as soon as she showed up on screen.

Once the footage made it to social media, the comments started rolling in.

“That is amazing” when they showed this angle,” a fan observed.

“What a view,” said another.

“The guy who owns or rents the place must be trying to emulate Hugh Hefner,” someone else offered.

“Chick with thong bikini walking around “that is amazing”,” a user wrote.

“Might have to more seriously consider moving in there,” someone thought out loud.

“Couldn’t pay me to live there,” another argued.

As for the Cardinals, they were pretty subdued and were held to just three hits as they failed to impact the scoreboard in consecutive games for the first time this season. Their best chance to score came in the ninth inning when Daniel Palencia allowed the first to reach, but he struck them out for his eighth save.
