The debate between James and Jordan has become a very heated talking point.

Clark is a name that has taken the basketball world by storm. She has completely changed the outlook for the WNBA and has brought a vast new group of fans to the table for the league.

Many believe that Clark can be the “GOAT” of women’s basketball by the end of her career.

Earlier this year, she weighed in with her thoughts on the best NBA player of all time debate.

During a meeting with the media, Caitlin Clark spoke out and named James her “GOAT” without hesitation.


“LeBron is the GOAT to me, he’s my favorite player of all time,” Clark said.

James has a high level of respect for Clark as well. He regularly praises her on social media.

James is set to enter his 23rd season in the NBA. He’s capable of playing like a top-10 player in the league on most nights.

He still hasn’t announced when he might be winding down his career.

During the 2024-25 NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers, James played in 70 games. He averaged 24.4 points per game, 8.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and a steal while shooting 51.3 percent from the floor.

The Indiana Fever’s next game is against the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday, and they finally welcomed back Clark to the court.

Clark, who has been held out of the last five games due to a groin injury, participated in Indiana’s five-on-five practice on Monday, indicating a return could be nearing.

She was only used in short bursts throughout the game, as they worked her back slowly before going all in.
