Blake Snell is back for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he’s proving to be worth every penny. The Dodgers were up against the Toronto Blue Jays, and Snell recorded his second win of the season. He put up five scoreless innings, helping the team win with a 9-1 final score.

The Blue Jays’ offense miserably failed as Snell dominated with three hits. He walked three hitters, but struck out 10. It was indeed a night to remember for the Boys in Blue, and Snell’s return has strengthened the team’s playoff run.

Despite having one of the best outings, Blake Snell remains hungry for more. The pitcher was not too impressed with his outing, as he still feels there are areas of interest.

Still a lot of work to do. There are a lot of things I can do better and help me get deeper into the game. It’s getting better. Just need to command the fastball better. Get ahead. Started off good and then, as the game goes on, I’ve just gotta clean it up… but overall feeling healthy and really excited about that,” Blake Snell said.

The Dodgers star was out for four months due to injury. With Tyler Glasnow pitching as well, the Dodgers are only waiting for Roki Sasaki to return.

Dave Roberts and his squad are dominating the NL West with a 68-49 record. However, they are only three games ahead of the San Diego Padres. The Dodgers no longer hold the best record in the league and need their pitchers to stay healthy.

Blake Snell has arrived at the right time for the tea,m with the playoffs approaching fast. The good news is that Roki Sasaki is also set to return soon. Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, and Snell will play a vital role in the postseason.

As long as the pitching staff stays healthy, the Dodgers are ready to have another World Series run.
