The Los Angeles Lakers recently received their schedule for the 2025-26 season, their first in which Luka Doncic will enter the year wearing the Purple and Gold. Los Angeles also still employs LeBron James, who has orchestrated some trade rumors this summer through his mouthpiece Rich Paul but seems poised to once again be on the Lakers next year.
Over the summer, James has picked up a new hobby in the sport of golf, showing off his swing for his millions of followers on social media. On Sunday, James was busy tweeting about the ongoing Tour Championship, weighing in on the proceedings as they unfolded.
One person who took issue with that was professional James critic Skip Bayless, who took to X, formerly Twitter, to relay his thoughts.
“LEBRON: Shouldn’t you be in the lab working on your free throws instead of wasting your time watching your new obsession – golf???” wondered Bayless.

For the first time in his illustrious career, LeBron James is now entering a season with the Los Angeles Lakers in which he will clearly not be the best player on his team.
That distinction belongs to Doncic, who played relatively well for Los Angeles last year following his shocking trade from the Dallas Mavericks but faced immense criticism for his lack of stamina and weight gain throughout the year.
Doncic has addressed those concerns this summer, recently going on an international press tour to show off his new slimmed-down frame and signing a new extension with the Lakers shortly thereafter.
