Pilar Sanders, the mother of Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders, has attracted some criticism online due to how she dressed at his debut last week.

The former Colorado star gave a great account of himself in a preseason fixture against the Carolina Panthers, firing his team to a 30-10 win. Shedeur completed 14 of 23 passing attempts for 138 yards and two touchdowns, finishing the game with a passer rating of 106.8.

“Pleased with Shedeur, pleased with the offense,” Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said. “Again, not perfect. Plenty that we can work on. But I thought the guys did a really nice job of Shedeur operating, the guys making plays. So again, a ton to teach on.”

The QB wasn’t as pleased with his performance as his coach was, admitting he could have played better.

“Did I play up to par? No, I don’t feel like I did,” he said. “But overall, the main goal was to win, and that’s honestly what we did.”

Shedeur Sanders’ Mother Criticized For Her “Conduct”

While there wasn’t much in the way of criticism for Shedeur Sanders, his mom took some heat from fans after going viral for wearing a crop top featuring her son’s No. 12.

“Aaaaaand you know itttt!!! Momma’s always present! #proudmom #shedeursanders #gobrowns #nfl #qb1 #footballmom #nflmom #12 #shedeursmom 🧡🤎🧡🤎,” she wrote as the caption to her video.

Of course, she got plenty of compliments, but some fans thought she was doing too much.

“I would be embarrassed if my 60 year old mom was conducted herself like that,” one said.

“What is wrong with her. Sad,” another declared.

“But as a mother pulling up to my son’s games, I would conduct myself differently. This is young woman behavior. You are so fine. You dont have to be posting pic licking your teeth and wiggling,” said a third.

“Prime definitely has a type! Her, Tracey, and Karreuche all have similar features,” one user observed.

Deion Sanders married Pilar in 1999, and they were together for 14 years, sharing three children, Shedeur, Shilo, and Shelomi.

The highly publicized relationship ended in a bitter divorce that has resulted in them having very little to say to each other to this day.
