On the hardwood, LeBron James has long been known as “King James” that he earned through decades of dominance in the NBA. Off the court, however, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar carries a different badge of honor. He is a proud father watching his sons follow in his basketball footsteps.

Bronny James has already taken his first steps into the league with the Lakers. Now, his younger son, Bryce, is charting his own path, recently starting college at Sierra Canyon School before heading to the next stage of his basketball journey.

When Bryce returned home from college for a short visit, he brought with him a noticeable change. LeBron shared the moment on Instagram. He was clearly thrilled about his son’s transformation.

“That boy home from college for a little bit. That boy from college for a little bit. Y’all see his beard?” LeBron said.

Bryce is a three-star recruit in the 2025 class out of Sierra Canyon High School. He will make his college debut this fall for the Wildcats to take his first official steps into the highly competitive world of NCAA basketball.

Bryce Shares LeBron James’ Advice Ahead Of College Season

During a recent media session at his college, Bryce opened up about the words of wisdom his father offered before the start of his freshman season.

“Just working hard and coming in and doing what you do best. Making sure if you’re not having some good days, always have to stay positive. … miss a shot, maybe get a turnover or something, don’t hang your head down. Always keep your head up. Push through and stay positive,” Bryce said.

Bryce is now armed with his father’s advice and carrying the James family legacy forward. As a member of James’ family, he now steps into the spotlight to make his own mark on the game.
