This comparison also highlights his remarkable journey, which includes being drafted into the NBA and spending 10 seasons in the league.

Turner surprised everyone on July 7, 2025, by signing a four-year, $107 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. The deal includes a player option for the fourth year in 2028-29 and a full 15% trade kicker.

Turner played 10 seasons with the Indiana Pacers, but this chapter has now come to an end. He will be wearing a Bucks jersey starting in the 2025-26 NBA season. Before the season began, the two-time blocks leader participated in an interview with the Bucks media team. During the interview, the team asked Turner several questions, including his nickname and who first put a basketball in his hands. The reporter also asked Turner, “Who was your favourite NBA player growing up?”

Turner responded, “Favourite NBA player growing up was Dirk Nowitzki.”

Myles Turner delivered impressive performances for the Indiana Pacers during the 2024-25 NBA season. Alongside star player Tyrese Haliburton, he led the team to the postseason. After defeating several powerhouse teams in the playoffs, the Pacers faced the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals. The series was competitive, stretching to a decisive Game 7. Unfortunately, during the game, Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon. Without their star player in the lineup, the Pacers lost with a final score of 91–103.
