Alyssa Stoddard may have thought she was in the free and clear, but social media has ways of finding everything.

Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, were caught in an awkward moment when “kiss cam” landed on them at a Coldplay concert in Boston.

Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, an educator at Bancroft School, where she serves as Associate Director of Lower School and the Hope Graham Program Admissions.

Kristin Cabot is also married. Her husband is said to be one Kenneth C Thornby.

There was also a third woman in that trio who appeared to be looking rather uncomfortable at that moment.

It turns out that Stoddard knows them as she is the Senior Director of People at Astronomer.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Alyssa joined Astronomer as Sr. Director of People in January 2025. Her previous roles included being a board member at Little Sparks Project, a human resources business partner at Proofpoint, and a people strategy manager at ObserveI.

Just last week, Kristin Cabot reportedly promoted Stoddard to Vice President of People.

As the video of Byron and Cabot made the rounds, so did Alyssa Stoddard’s reaction.

“She’s the recent hire who just got a promotion,” one person said.

“She’s cute with a great smile – supposedly she’s in HR as well and is a direct report of the chick that got busted on the big screen,” a second person added.

“She was the annoying, loud mouth, bad influence, feminist friend pushing for it all to happen, is my guess,” a third person guessed.

“She just can’t wait to tell everyone,” a fourth person said of Alyssa Stoddard.

“When it comes out, this lady is actually best friends with the wife… that may be the bigger drama by far,” one final person commented.
