Patrick Beverley has not officially retired from professional basketball. Following his 2023-24 NBA season, Beverley joined Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. However, he still harbors mixed feelings about rejoining the NBA court.

Fans may soon see Beverley back in action. He is set to participate in the 2025 ‘BIG3’ Celebrity Game in Dallas, Texas, representing ‘Team Cube.’

Meanwhile, in a recent video, former Lakers guard Nick Young publicly called out Beverley. Young demanded a one-on-one matchup, signaling he wanted full attention.

“Be here, baby. My man. Hey. Be here. Tell Pat Baff to pull up. I’m back in Texas, baby. L.A. Rise, baby. I’m out here. Tell him to highlight me, too, when he come to L.A. I really want that one-on-one. Easy. Oh, I’ll be here. He know where to find me. Make sure he’s courtside. I’ll give him all the smoke, all the attention he want,” Young said.


Nick currently serves as the head coach for the BIG3 team LA Riot, but Beverley’s entry into the league could shake things up. Their paths have crossed before. Beverley recently recounted an unexpected face-to-face encounter with Young at a prior BIG3 event.
