Sky Daily Hogan on airstrip with Hulk Hogan

Sky Daily Hogan, the wife of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, has broken her silence on her husband’s death in a heartbreaking social media post.

Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away at 71 on Thursday. The former WWE superstar is understood to have been at his residence in Clearwater, Florida, when he went into cardiac arrest.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he was eventually pronounced dead.

Sky, Hogan’s wife of two years, took to Instagram on Friday morning to share a tribute in which she expressed shock and devastation, given that she had expected him to get over his recent health struggles and thought that they would have more time together.

“I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces,” she wrote in an emotional post also showing a photo of her kissing Hulk on the cheek.

“He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” she continued.

“This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart,” Sky also wrote in the post.

“Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.

“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.

“Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”

Sky was Hulk Hogan’s third wife following divorces from Linda Hogan in 2009 and Jennifer McDaniel in 2021.

Only weeks ago, she denied rumors claiming he was in a coma and on his deathbed. She insisted that his heart was strong following a routine neck surgery.

“He’s had problems with his back for years but there’s no emergency,” a representative for the former wrestler wrote.

Linda, whom Hogan married in 1983 and is the mother of his two children, Brooke and Nick, was not on the best of terms with The Hulkster following their split. She referred to him as a “sex addict” and “complete liar” in an explosive video in March but posted a photo of them together earlier this week captioned “The good old days!”

Hogan is also survived by two grandchildren, twins Oliver Andrew Oleksy and Molly Gene Oleksy, who were born in January.
