The Minnesota Timberwolves are back with their powerful rotations. After an intense Western Conference finals run, the front office focused on keeping its core intact by re-signing Julius Randle and Naz Reid. Their goal is clear to contend again, and Anthony Edwards is at the heart of that mission.

Minnesota made two quiet but bright depth moves to round out the roster. They signed Johnny Juzang to a one deal after his best season with Utah, where he averaged 8.9 points and shot 37.6% from three. The team also brought in Enrique Freeman on a two-way contract and waived Jesse Edwards to open a slot. Freeman played 22 games with the Indiana Pacers last season and showed promise late in the year.

Their rotation looks powerful. According to Even Sidery, the projected starting five features Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle, and Rudy Gobert. The bench includes Rob Dillingham, Donte DiVincenzo, Terrence Shannon Jr., Naz Reid, and Joan Beringer. Rookies and role players must step up, but the depth is solid across all positions.

The Timberwolves ‘ over/under win total is 49.5, which sets high expectations. The question now is whether Edwards, now the clear leader, can take one step further and reach the NBA Finals.

Anthony Edwards is looking towards China from August 21-28 to promote his Adidas AE 1 shoe line. While details are limited, the tour marks another significant step in Edwards’ growing global presence.

The AE 1, released in 2023, quickly became a top seller and helped secure Edwards a $50 million extension with Adidas in July 2024. China became a significant market for NBA stars, with players like James Harden regularly making similar promotional trips.

At just 24, Edwards led the Timberwolves to another Western Conference finals appearance and will reportedly rejoin a stable roster in training camp this September.
