Sophie Cunningham took a big-time shot at Indiana Fever teammate Caitlin Clark by comparing her hygiene to a goat’s.

After getting roughed up aplenty by her opponents as a rookie, Caitlin Clark got some help when the Fever brought in Sophie Cunningham to act as the team enforcer.

Earlier this season, Jacy Sheldon of the Connecticut Sun learned from Sophie Cunningham that going after Clark will no longer be tolerated.

X/Twitter user @FeverTrick22 sent out a viral post with two images of Cunningham, one with goats and the other with her All-Star teammate:

Sophie Cunningham saw the post and responded with a friendly dig at Caitlin Clark:

During her first season with Indiana, Cunningham has quickly emerged as one of the WNBA’s most popular players. Her jersey sales spiked after the retaliation against Sheldon in the June 17 game between Indiana and Connecticut. Days later, she announced a partnership with the Ring home security company.

Indiana (18-16) has lost four of its last five games and is now barely clinging to the No. 7 seed. They’re only one game up on the eighth-seeded Seattle Storm, and 1.5 up on the Los Angeles Sparks, who are on the outside looking in.

The Fever will look to rebound when they visit the Sun tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. EST.
