‘Hacks’ star Hannah Einbinder gave the Philadelphia Eagles a shout-out during the Emmys on Sunday after winning her first award, having been named Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Einbinder got on stage to collect her prize and deliver a speech, which she ended with a controversial, political statement, saying: “Go Birds, f**k ICE and free Palestine.”
The vulgar line was muted on the telecast, but it could be heard in the clip below, which is trending on Twitter/X.

The Eagles, meanwhile, are 2-0 to start the 2025 season following a win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, beating their Super Bowl 59 opponents 20-17 in grind-out fashion.
Fans felt the referees gave them a helping hand, but Jalen Hurts was just happy to win the game and let the Chiefs know it.

Hannah Einbinder’s comment comes on the back of an open letter which has come to light and has been signed by 3,900 people in the entertainment industry – including Einbinder – which states that they will not work with Israeli institutions and film companies “implicated in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people.”
CBS parent company Paramount was among the first studios to respond to the letter, noting that they “do not agree with recent efforts to boycott Israeli filmmakers.”
“Silencing individual creative artists based on their nationality does not promote better understanding or advance the cause of peace,” they added.
CBS hosted the Emmy Awards on Sunday.
