Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers fans were fighting during Week 18.
The Steelers and Ravens rivalry reached a fever pitch in Week 18. The action wasn’t just on the field. Anything that could’ve happened was most certainly going to happen with emotions running high.

Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh was sold out as thousands of AFC North fans came out to cheer on the team. There were also many fans from Baltimore who made the trip. Mix the two fan bases together, and things are bound to explode.
On the field, Pittsburgh brought in reinforcements in the form of a priest throwing holy water on the field. As luck would have it, the gesture would certainly work later in the contest. In the stands, some Steelers fans had an actual dead Raven on a rope just to taunt their rival. That wasn’t the only thing going on.

Footage from inside Acrisure Stadium showed a Ravens fan confronting a much younger Steelers fan in the stands. The younger fellow in the TJ Watt jersey looked spooked out of his mind. In an attempt to break things up, another Pittsburgh fan got pushed by the Ravens fan’s hand around his neck.
He would go flying down the seats as the fan rocking a Derrick Henry jersey continued to grab him. Eventually, the other men in the area would separate everybody before the violence got worse.
The night would end terribly for that fan from Baltimore. Tyler Loop had a chance to clinch the AFC North title for his team and secure their spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately, his 44-yard field goal attempt sailed wide right just as time expired. It sent Pittsburgh into the playoffs and ended the Ravens’ season on a heartbreaking note.
“Faith is a big part of my life,” he said shortly after the miss.
“It’s such a fortunate thing to be here, even going back — just being placed in Baltimore with this team has been the biggest blessing of my life, and I’m super grateful for it.”
The Ravens drafted Loop in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft to replace Justin Tucker. It was just another heartbreak for a team that had Super Bowl aspirations.
