The quarterback will not be returning to Nebraska in 2026, having started for the Cornhuskers over the last two seasons.

On3’s Pete Nakos reported this Saturday that Raiola is expected to visit Oregon, with the program keen on taking a look at him amid the possibility of Dante Moore entering the NFL Draft.

The Ducks missed out on a chance to compete for a national title on Friday night, losing to Indiana in the Peach Bowl. The Hoosiers completely dismantled Dan Lanning’s side, blowing them out in a 56-22 rout.

Heisman QB Fernando Mendoza and Indiana will face Miami in the CFP National Championship Game on January 19.

Raiola could possibly be the new starter under center at Oregon next season. He was a five-star recruit in 2024 and the third-ranked recruit out of Georgia.

The 20-year-old finished the season with 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

He was more careful with the football in 2025, attracting five fewer INTs, while he also improved from 13 TDs last season, though his passing yards went down from 2,819.

Nebraska went 7-6 this season, losing to Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl to leave Matt Rhule with a 19-19 record as head coach.
