Steph Curry reflected on the issues in tonight’s loss against the Hawks, despite the Warriors performing well for most of the game.

After winning two consecutive games, the Golden State Warriors faced the Atlanta Hawks in their recent matchup at Chase Center. Star player Stephen Curry delivered an impressive performance, aiming to secure the team’s third straight win. However, it turned out to be a disappointing night for the Warriors.

The Warriors held a one-point lead at the end of the first quarter. However, the Hawks made a stronger comeback, taking a six-point lead and extending it to 16 points by the end of the third quarter. Although the Warriors put in strong efforts during the fourth quarter, it was not enough to secure a victory. In the post-game interview, Curry reflected on the team’s performance against the Hawks.

“Crazy how you can play 40 good minutes and lose it in 2-4 minutes stretches, the way the NBA is,” Curry said.

Curry, who recently shut down the talks about the Warriors-Kings rivalry, mentioned that the team could have executed their offensive strategy more effectively by driving to the basket more often.

Curry played for 33 minutes and scored 31 points, along with five assists and three rebounds. Jimmy Butler also impressed the crowd by scoring 30 points, with six assists and seven rebounds. Despite their efforts, the Warriors lost the game, with a final score of 111-124. After the game, Curry expressed his support for the role players during the Warriors’ inconsistent stretch.

“It’s part of the journey. When they came here, everything was already under the spotlight, so they probably feel a heavier weight than even I experienced early in my career, where you just have to diagnose and be honest with yourself after each game about what you could have done better, but not lose your confidence,” Curry said.

The Warriors currently hold the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings with 21 wins and 19 losses. Looking ahead, they will face the Portland Trail Blazers in their next game at the Chase Center.
