One Cheryl Richardson-Wagner has been forced to release a statement via Facebook, insisting that the woman shown in the viral videos is not her, adding she’s actually a Red Sox fan.
“Ok everyone… I’m NOT the crazy Philly Mom (but I sure would love to be as thin as she is and move as fast)… and I’m a Red Sox fan,” she wrote in a post.
One X user claimed to have even called Cheryl, who denied being at the game but was convinced it was her after she asked her to send some ID and got hung up on.
She has since deleted her tweet.
Photos of Cheryl show that she looks nothing like the woman seen abusing the father after he retrieved the ball for his son, with X now hitting tweets claiming she’s the one with the dreaded community note.
