Two NFL Teams with Coaches Are Reportedly Willing to Fire Them for John Harbaugh

John Harbaugh is the hottest commodity in the NFL.
In a somewhat shocking turn of events, John Harbaugh is done with the Baltimore Ravens. It took 18 years and another disappointing end to the season to finally move on from their legendary head coach.
However, despite the recent lack of success with Lamar Jackson at the helm, Harbaugh remains a highly regarded head coach.
He reportedly became the primary candidate for all teams with current head coaching positions. Then again, Aditi Kinkhabwala of CBS Sports reported that even two teams with current head coaches are intrigued by the possibility of hiring him:
“Yes, he is the No. 1 candidate,” Kinkhabwala said. “It’s not just one team that currently has a coach that has inquired about John Harbaugh, I’ve been told it’s two teams that haven’t yet moved on from their coach that have made inquiries about John Harbaugh.”
Clearly, not many people expected that Harbaugh would be available. And if Tyler Loop had made that field goal, perhaps he’d still have a job.
The New York Giants Are ‘All-In’ On John Harbaugh

Those unnamed teams with a head coach might need to act quickly. Whoever wants to get Harbaugh is going to face some steep competition.
According to SNY insider Connor Hughes, the New York Giants are going to be ‘all-in’ on him:
“Sources: Giants are “all-in” on John Harbaugh right now. He’s the No. 1 coach on their wish list,” Hughes wrote on X. “Just about every team has interest in him (obviously), but the other that I heard is increasingly interested is the Falcons.”
Harbaugh has 11 double-digit wins in his 18 years with the Ravens. He also had one of the most epic Super Bowl runs with Joe Flacco at the helm.
That being said, he also has the most blown double-digit leads in NFL history (26). He’s neither an offensive nor a defensive specialist, and while some might claim that he’s a culture builder, that clearly didn’t seem to be the case in Baltimore this season.
The Giants must be extremely cautious in their next hire. They have a promising young core and a strong defense, and they’ve already seen what hiring the right guy can do for a franchise.
With the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, and Dallas Cowboys all looking much stronger in the NFC East, they might have a tough time convincing Harbaugh to take the job.
