What Happened to Andrea Bocelli’s Children ?

Andrea Belli, a name synonymous with timeless music and legendary performances,  is not only a global icon, but also a proud father.  His three children, Amos, Matteo and Virginia, are part of a remarkable family legacy  rooted in music, passion and love.

 In today’s video, we take you to discover the life of  these children who are now themselves in the spotlight of rent. From their musical talents to  their personal success, this is the story of the Bocelli family like you’ve never seen it  previously. Bocelli was born to Aleandro and Eddie Bocelli. From the start, Andrea faced difficulties. He is  born with visual impairment due to congenital glaucoma.

 His mother, Eddie, took the courageous  decision to give birth despite doctors’ advice to the contrary. This decision was  later inspiring Andrea with her strong stance against abortion. Andrea grew up on the family farm in the small village  of Lusterza, located just south of Pisa. The Bocelli family made their living selling  agricultural machinery and producing wine.

 Her education was simple but filled with love and  Music quickly became a source of comfort for young Andrea. Child, Andrea’s love  for the music was undeniable his mother remembers  that music was often the only thing that could soothe him at the age of 6 he began to  take piano lessons and his passion only grew from there over time he  learned to play several instruments including the flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone,  guitar and drums.

 It was a gift from his nanny, Oriana, that triggered his dream  to become a tenor. She gave him a record by the famous tenor, Franco Carelli, and Andrea  was captivated. At the age of 7, he could recognize the great voices of the time and tried to imitate them, thus laying the foundation for his future career.  But tragedy struck Andréa when he was 12 years old.  While playing football, he was hit in the eye, causing him to completely lose his sight.

 Despite doctors’ desperate efforts, including the use of leeches to try to save her sight, Andrea was left forever blind. Although it was a devastating moment in his life,  Andrea never lost her love for music. In fact, it only strengthened  his determination to pursue his dreams.

 Music is not just a profession  for the Bocelli family. It is part of their daily life.  Andrea once said that sitting around the piano is as common in their house as sitting around the dinner table.  It is in these intimate and beautiful moments that the bond between father and children becomes even stronger.  Andrea, for me, family has always been the most important thing in life.

Being able to share my passion for music with my children is a gift that I cherish every day. » Let’s start with the eldest Bocelli child, Amos Bocelli.  Born February 22, 1995. Named after a close family friend and mentor, Amos combines a deep love for music with a brilliant mind for science.

 While his brother and sister Cadet focused more on performance, Amos earned a piano diploma at the prestigious Luigi Boccerini Institute of Musical Studies.  But music is just one of Amos’ passions.  Luigi Boccherini. But music is just one of Amos’ passions.

 He is also a highly qualified aerospace engineer, holding a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering from  the University of Pisa. He worked on projects at the European Space Agency and  held key positions in various companies. Let’s talk about a talented individual. Despite his career  Well-rounded in science and technology, Amos has never strayed too far from his musical roots.  Amos often performs alongside his father, accompanying Andrea on piano at events such as the San Ramo Music Festival.

 Their connection through music is evident, and it is moments like these that show how intimately the Bocelli family is linked to the world of art and entertainment next comes Matteo Belli born October 8, 1997  if you have ever heard the song folon you could have felt the incredible father-son dynamic  between Andrea and Matteo but Matteo’s story begins well before this hit.

 Growing up, Matteo was always surrounded by music. He took piano lessons from his  younger age and honed his vocal skills, although he often hesitated to singin front of his father. “As a child, I sang, but only in front of my mother. I was a little shy  at the idea of singing in front of my father because  that, well, it’s Andrea Bocelli.

 Although he wasn’t initially sure he wanted to do  career in singing, everything changed when he met music producer David Foster.  Foster, who had a major influence on Andrea’s career, saw the potential in  Matteo and encouraged him to follow his talent. And the rest, as they say, is history.  In 2023, Matteo released his first solo album, Matteo, a project filled with heart and talent.

 One of the album’s standout tracks is Chasing Star, a collaboration with Ed Sheeran.  Matteo shares a special bond with Sharan, as both artists  grew up in families who cherished music. Working with Ed on Chasing Star  was an incredible experience. We both come from families of musicians and this bond  really comes through in the song. And now we turn to the youngest member of the Bocelli family, Virginia Bocelli.

 Born on March 21, 2012, Virginia has already made a name for herself at just 12 years old.  She may be the youngest, but her voice is as powerful as any adult’s.  Virginia made her public debut at the age of 8, performing Leonard Cohen’s Alleluia in a live-streamed concert alongside her father.  Becoming a father again later in life was a wonderful experience.

 With Virginia, I feel more patient, more present, and truly cherish every moment we spend together.  Virginia is more than just a singer, she’s a gymnast  talented and an aspiring model as well. Whether it’s performing at competitions  gymnastics or parades on fashion show catwalks, Virginia proves that she is a  young star with multiple talents.

 His dedication to both music and gymnastics  has brought numerous successes, including first places in regional championships.  Virginia’s versatility is a testament to the diverse talents that characterize the Bocelli family.  Together, Amos, Matteo and Virginia perpetuate the musical tradition of the Bocelli family.  In 2022, they teamed up with Andrea to  release a special holiday album, at Family Christmas.

 For Andrea, it was much more than a  single album. It was a reminder of the importance of family, especially during the period  holidays. For the Belli family, music is a way to create bonds, to express love  and create unforgettable memories. Whether at home or on the Belly Stage, music is a way to connect, express love and create unforgettable memories.
